( Mickey climbs out of the car, too, flanking the two Sullivans. He's alive and has at least changed his bloodsoaked signature flannel to clean flannel. He and Cooper retrieved what was left of the their equipment and clothing. It's now in the back of Cooper's truck.

He doesn't want to think about the existential crisis ahead of him.

Dean's hardly the general when it comes to hunting. He'll lead a simple hunt, but he's not the brother who led the Apocalypse World hunters and their widening network. He was Michael then. And he's so damn tired when it comes to large-scale hunting. Dean Winchester's in touch, but Sam still oversees their network. Dean checks in on the hunters he cares about, helps those that reach out.

Sam, he leaves with Allison, overseeing the hunter funeral. They don't need dead hunter wreaking havoc on the quarter, or Monroe's last spirit stand.

Dean, arms crossed, glances back at the three newcomers. )

Paying your respects?

More like three more for the pyre.

[He nods towards the trunk of the SUV where Monroe and her two bodyguards are wrapped in blankets and probably seeping blood all over everything, but nothing a deep clean can't fix.]

Figured it would make sense to burn them all together.

( Dean narrows his eyes, coming around the truck bed and taking a look. )

That's -

( He lets go of the corner of the blanket and it drops unceremoniously. )

Add her to the pyre.

[Coop nods, and gathers up the bodies to do just that, giving Mickey the opportunity to work with him, while Sullivan Sr. steps to the side and extends his hand out to Dean.

"Good to see you again."]

( Michael Sullivan is a sight for sore eyes, if a surprise. And the father-son resemblance gives him a passing understand that that is the young Cooper, grown and also hunting. Mickey, he'd crossed paths with before. He shakes Michael's hand, giving Cooper and Mickey room to pile the bodies behind them. )

You, too. This is a mess.

["Tell me about it." Sullivan Sr. is willing to admit that he's been on the wrong side for some of this - in some ways, he contributed to this mess. But that doesn't mean it's any less of a mess and he's determined to help clean it up. "Gonna take a while to clean this up."]

We'll do our part, Sammy and me. And we have calls in to Jody and Donna.

( Garth is more iffy with the hunters on the wrong side of the line. )

It'll take time, but we'll bring hunting back to its' basics. Remind people -- that they're people.

( Not eloquent but that's his sentiment. )

["That was always a tall order." He rubs his eyes. "But we'll figure it out." Even if he might be losing his son to a socialite for a while.

Eventually Coop and Mickey return, bodies added, before nodding towards Dean.]

Coop Sullivan, by the way.

Speaking as the formerly tall order, it's possible. And - if it's not, we know we have to interfere. We know now, Michael.

( And that's something. )

Dean Winchester. Your dad's said a lot about you, but, you were in school at the time.

( One of the times he tried to give his kid an education around the life he couldn't keep him from. Also, feel free to get starstruck. Dean's been there. )

[He knew the Winchesters were working with Allison, but he didn't think he'd actually see one. And then, because he's a smartass:]

You're shorter than I thought you'd be.

[Sullivan rolls his eyes behind his son's back.]

( He holds that handshake. Fine. Yes. )

Sam's the giraffe. ( Wait. ) I'm 6ft. You're barely. That's how you want to start out?

I mean, I could have done worse.

[At least he went for your height and not your age, Dean.]

Hearing stories about you guys just made you seem ... a little larger than life, you know?

Yeah. We are. How many times your kid die, Mikey?

( THIS is the foot you want to start with, dude? )

At least once in the last forty-eight hours.

[Michael is just standing behind him, pinching the bridge of his nose. "He takes after his mother."]

He's right, I do. And my mother was a treasure.

( Gripping that hand, harder, he leans in close. )

So was mine. How many times she die?

[He really doesn't seem bothered by Dean's tightening grip. Then he whips around to his father.]

That's still never, right?

["Yes, as far as I'm aware your mother is still alive. And she is not finding out about your and Mickey's half-assed plan."]

( If he doesn't play along, then it's no fun. Fuck it, he lets go. )

What half-assed plan?

( He's still playing hunter catch-up. )

Well, Mickey and I were both undercover for two separate parties in Monroe's organization.

[He's not going to tell Dean Mickey's actually a vampire. He's not that stupid.]

Then Monroe caught on to both of us so she sent Mickey to take me out figuring whoever came out on top was more trustworthy, so we faked my death for a minute.

Sounds like Mr. and Mr. Smith.

( Sorry, he's got a feeling about you. But he's inclusive! Ask Charlie! He can totally talk you through flirting with men. He was great at it the one time.

Interesting story start, though. He turns to Michael. )

Sounds two-thirds assed.

[Michael shrugs. "They didn't consult me when they were planning it, or I would have told them they were being dumbasses."]

Hey, it worked and Mickey saved Davina so. That has to count for something.

Sometimes, all you got is your half-assed plan. Good work.

( He's still iffy with your attitude, but it does sound like you did good. )

That's two more inside men than I thought there were. You guys kept it under wraps real nice.

[Technically so is Mickey's, but again, they're not talking about that.]

I started working for Allison around Prague.

She recruited you?

( Good move on her part. He's always respected Allison, but Dean and Sam always worked on their own - especially after what happened with the Men of Letters. )

I volunteered?

[Because that's what people want to hear.]

What was going on didn't feel right and trying to help felt better so I leaned into it.

And that got you dead.

( Seems like a diminishing return, but it's not like he hasn't been there more times than he can count. It's more about ribbing the newb hunter. )
