[Waverly lets go. She takes a step back and moves to help Doc up instead.
Serena eyes the way things are starting to settle. She taps her dress gently, and when she doesn't set her dress on fire, she reaches over the bar for the water spray gun and uses it to douse the existing flames, just to be safe.]
It means one of two things, that, one, the big crazy magic - is over. Or, two, that the big crazy magic? Comes in waves. Unfortunately, without foreknowledge of where this came from, why, and what it was made of, we have no reason of knowing if this is the end. Is everyone alright?
( She asks our crew and also some other patrons who get their bearings again. )

( She amplifies her voice in spell form, the words 'freak power surge' echoing in the civilians minds (17). Various civilians can make will saves. She's not intending it in her compatriots' directions.
Wynonna, who is not present, fails the will save she didn't know she needed to take (5) as she and Dolls return to the restaurant. Looking up above her, bubbles cascade out of her mouth quite gingerly as if she's admiring the ridiculousness of New York's power grid. )
[It takes a second, because that's a lot of Doc-specific words, even for Doc, but once he does follow the context clues, he glances back to Serena, confused:]

[Serena throws up her hands in victory. "That's what I said!" She glances to Doc. "And rude, I am not a pyromaniac, I was just ... briefly incendiary."]
("If wild magic resembles a dangerous and unpredictable wild animal, than I whole heartedly agree," Doc says, no, not apologizing to Serena. But, he thinks he understands. )

Wynonna almost bubbles, again, leaning in close to Waverly, but instead:
"Did it cause the power surge?" She pauses. "Hey. Ariel's got her voice back. Boo-ya." She turns in Dolls' direction with a smile. "Fuck you very much." She nods. "That felt good. Now, all's I need is a little Prince Eric action, hell, I'll settle for King Triton," she says, looking at Serena who happens to be the nearest. "Big zaddy energy, know what I mean?")
[Serena will happily follow this line of conversation.]

[Dolls can already see this slipping away and they need to stay on track. "Can we focus please? We need to figure out where that magic came from and how many might be affected."

Aalis, while not lost in the pop culture, is quite bored of the pop culture. She is a purist as things come out, so she likes original black and white films, old animation. Why fix what isn't broken. But, being a woman of New York the past few decades, she greatly appreciates theatre, and always has. She remembers when Shakespeare was performed by all men. But The Little Mermaid still slaps.

Aalis gets three blank stares at that information as Dolls (9), Waverly (2), and Serena (6) can't exactly put a face to that bloodline. Though Dolls gets the closest, holding up a hand as he tries to process that.]
Because it should, if you run in those circles, which, clearly, none of you do. She derives her power from her family line. And she assisted in this spell.
( The one that went entirely wrong. Bonnie Bennett hasn't come up in conversation with Doc (16), as he is more adjacent to anything, but Wynonna (16) is well-versed in the name, Bennett.
"My father knew a Bennett, Erma, or Elma. Elma Bennett." Wynonna says. )

("Bullshit. They're the same. They have to be the same. Coincidences don't exist in Purgatory, and I'm willing to bet they don't ever exist, not in our worlds." Wynonna gestures, throwing an arm out to make her point. )
[Dolls looks over at Wynonna and Waverly, and his expression goes blank, almost as though he doesn't know what to make of it. This isn't how he wanted to come back into their lives, but it's how it happened.]
I'm not sure if there's anything I can say that will keep her from doing that anyway.

( She's almost past it, deflating with every word, but mostly because the bubbles took it out of her. )

Dolls looks back at her and trying to tell Waverly no is one of the hardest things to do, because more often than not she's not wrong. And it's like kicking a puppy.]
You were in the Garden. By the time you got back, I was settled in with the Underground, and ... I didn't think you needed me.
[Waverly gives him a soft look. "Need and want aren't the same thing. Maybe we didn't need you, but we would have always wanted you."]
