I tend to follow my whimsy. See what feels good in the moment. Like right about now, my whimsy is thinking that I should reclaim the beer Wynonna's sister said she was buying and see if I am any good at swing dancing.
[They won't be. Their musical talents lean more on the instrumental side.]
( It takes no effort to push his feet forward, accepting the hand physically and emotionally. For now anyway. It's better than dwelling on everything he usually does. He's taking a page out of Crash's book and seeing where it gets him - and maybe Crash. )
[And with that, they're off, briefly making their way over to the bar to recover Crash's beer and say hi to the girls, before heading back off to the dance floor. Crash watches the other dancers over their shoulders.]

[Their face brightens in delight when Julian starts taking the lead, doing their best to try and keep up (13). It's passable, but they're not leading so it's all good.]
( He used to dance when he was younger, something he stopped when their mother walked out, but it's been years. Apparently, it is just like riding a bike.
He lets loose, smile at 100 watts, slowing down to match Crash, spinning them both around and keeping close. He hasn't let himself be this close in ages. In years. In the spirit of the night, and in Crash's spirit he'd like to think, he throws caution to the wind when he spins Crash back to him.
He feels something. And so he does something.
He gives himself over to the moment and locks lips with Crash. Emotions have to come out somehow and in this case, they SPILL over. )
