It's frustrating that no matter what decision I do make, she stands by it, but always gives me her two cents anyway, in case I'm not doing it her way.

This is the pressure cooker I was raised in. And while yeah, things are a bit more intense than they were for me as a child, I have a lot of practice in delaying unhelpful feelings until later.
