[Apparently a lot of Stefan’s friends are coming to Thanksgiving.
Not that Dawn is mad about it. It turns out that some of Stefan’s friends are also Jeremy’s friends, and so this feels like a low pressure opportunity to scope them out without it being an “official” meeting. There’s probably going to be enough of that if and when she gets to Kansas to meet his parents, which she’s totally not jealous about at all. Especially since she technically has one living parent.
Though that is a huge technicality.
Still, with Buffy in the kitchen working on the spread and Stefan is there being an actual chef and helping with said spread, Lindsay and Beck debating their potential return to the states, and Faith is not reliable on door duty, so it leaves Dawn to answer the door as people arrive. A knock sounds, and she makes her way over to the entrance, pulling it open with a smile.]
Hi. Happy Thanksgiving.
[She will save verbal invitations for those that need it, depending on who is actually at the door.]

[Jo, Ric, Josie, Lizzie, Liv, Tyler, Luke, Shep, Annie]
[Jo is trying not to stress out. She pushed for a small, family gathering this year because she didn’t want to overwhelm Shep but because it’s a small family gathering, she finds herself stressing over all the details. The place settings looking just right. The food being perfect. There being enough wine.
She has already sent Alaric out for more wine. And ice.
Fortunately after that command she went back to preparing the food, which is why she’s knee deep in mashing potatoes when the doorbell rings and she sighs.]
Girls! Can one of you get the door?

Girls! Can one of you get the door?
Remember, these are my colleagues. One of them is a named partner.
[Maud raises an eyebrow in her brother’s direction as he swipes them into the Pearson Spector Litt offices. “Are you asking me not to embarrass you?”
Robin shakes his head, juggling the wine in his hand as he leads them both onto the elevator.]
Of course not. Because that’s a surefire way to get you to embarrass me.
[His sister laughs, before leaning back against the back of the elevator car, keeping the pumpkin pie perfectly balanced in her hands. “Don’t worry. It’s more important to see a true American Thanksgiving in the wild. Do you think they hunt their own turkeys? Like a right of passage for every American is participation in the turkey hunger games, aside from the one turkey the president pardoned?”
Robin’s brow furrows as the doors begin to close, whisking them up to the floor where he spends most of his working life.]
Where do you find the time to come up with these things?
[As the doors open, she grins. “Bold of you to assume that I, a busy university student, have any time to do something as trivial as sleep. This is absolutely sleep deprivation and those accursed energy drinks.”
Robin laughs before leading his sister onto the main floor.]
C’mon. We’ll be down this way.

[The trip back from Purgatory was long, but it gave him and Wynonna a chance to work out some of the remaining kinks in their relationship. Things almost feel back to normal, and after picking up Waverly just outside the city, he drives the two of them out for their first Underground Thanksgiving.
The hideout has garnered itself a full spread for a variety of different diets, this meal being more of a potluck thank a traditional turkey and sides. Long tables stretch through the room, and when the three of them arrive, they’re just about to kick off the festivities with appetizers and drinks.
He scans the tables, looking for empty seats that it would make sense to place the Earp sisters. Crash is conspicuously missing, but perhaps that’s a good thing (no one needs to know what confectionary horror they’d dug up out of America’s long history), but he does spot Alys with some empty seats nearby and leads the two women in that direction.]
Alys, you remember the Earps.

[Annie is not here—a downside because she has the technical know-how for what Jackson wants to do, but Serena is needed for more of the heavy lifting. Fortunately, she’s not off on whatever mystery adventure Shep and Annie are on (Alexander has an inkling but he can’t say for sure he knows), and when he spots her at the table, he gives Jackson a nudge.]
There’s Serena. She’s been in New York with Dolls a lot recently, so have you two met yet?
[Making an introduction could be a painless way to transition into what Jackson has in mind, especially considering this is supposed to be a friendly gathering.]

[Alice was not planning to spend her Thanksgiving break in New Orleans, but given that she’s never been, she wasn’t going to say no. What she didn’t anticipate, however, was traveling on a private plane with the entirety of the Mikaelson family, and … they’re a lot.
Like … incredibly intense.
She did spend most of the plane ride hiding by being designated Henry sitter. It also isn’t that she doesn’t like Rebekah—she makes her dad happy, and she’s always been very nice to Alice. It’s her brothers that are the complicated part, so she made herself as inconspicuous as possible, and thankfully they left her alone.
She doesn’t expect that to last.
However, when they make it back to the Abattoir and she does see a familiar face, she seizes the opportunity to take advantage.]
Hope. Hi!
[Then a beat.]
It’s Alice. Lizzie’s roommate, and your … step-cousin? I guess?
[Hope probably remembers who she is. But damn if the girl isn’t intimidating and makes her want to ramble. As much as she and Lizzie have gotten closer, she knows that Hope is Lizzie’s capital-B Bestie, and she doesn’t want to be awkward.
Which is why awkward is exactly what she is.
The undercurrent of it all though is please help.]

I did something stupid.
[This is not where he wanted to say those words.
He had planned to do it alone, with Dickerson, where Rudy wouldn’t overhear and be eventually forced to share with his mother, but immediately after he gets that initial statement out, Rudy and his mother return from overseeing the Turkey Trot.
“Hey, now, buddy. It can’t be that stupid.” Rudy, always so quick to reassure. Ben grits his teeth before flashing his mom a smile.]
Hey. You’re back fast.

[Dean, Mary, Bobby, Elena, Jeremy, Grayson, Miranda, Caroline, Ryan, Jack, Castiel, Irina, Ezra]
Hello!
[Caroline’s chipper greeting echoes through the bunker as she and Ryan make their way in from the road. They had spent the night at a hotel in town the night before—from what Elena was saying the bunker has been getting way too crowded—but overcrowding was not going to stop Caroline from coming in as the bestie support system.
Also, because while she knows that Dean is okay in the kitchen, she probably shouldn’t leave him and Grayson alone to handle a full Thanksgiving dinner for ten plus people.]
We come bearing pie!
[Somewhere in the distance she hears Elena’s familiar: “Oh, thank god.”]

[Oliver, Laurel squared, Tommy, Mia, William, JJ, Conner, Zoe, Mickey, Evelyn, Cooper, Michael]
[JJ has run out of opportunities to sneak away, get in through Verdant, or trying to work his way into Queen Consolidated. That leaves one option left: one of the Arrowcave consoles in Queen Manor. He knows where they all are, having practically grown up in that house, but getting in there without arousing suspicion is the hard part.
The Queen Thanksgiving event will have to do.
He buys his time, making small talk with the previous generation and Zoe, waving Connor off to go conversate elsewhere, and he slips down into the lower levels to find the hidden console spot. As soon as he uses his father’s login he knows that its going to trip some alarm Oliver has somewhere, but hopefully he will be able to find what he’s looking for in just enough time.]

So. You ready?
[Coop glances over at William as they make their way over to the Air B&B they had rented for a quiet Sullivan family Thanksgiving. A small dinner together before heading over to the Queens while giving Lucas some time to himself was the compromise so that Lucas didn’t have to be overwhelmed by a large party so quickly after coming back from the dead.
He was doing better. Lucas was starting to relax. But Coop had a feeling it would be a while before those sharp edges were fully faded away.
Still, no reason to dance around why Coop was spending most of his time in Star City. Also Mickey would probably stop over for dinner as well, so that will be good for Lucas too.]
Because we can take a minute.

Is there anything we should know before they get here?
[By “we” Melissa means “her” because Chris already knows Sam, at least professionally. He hasn’t met Davina, but Melissa hasn’t met either, and she’s very curious to learn more about this girl that seems to have captured her son’s attention. She also is curious about Sam, because while she is not officially a parental figure as far as Allison is concerned, she wants the girl to be happy.
At least Malia will be hear to break the tension.
She glances between Allison and Scott, and waits for whoever wants to talk first.]

( Speaking of technicalities, Bonnie definitely covers both bases in being Stefan's friend (though Damon's best friend) and Jeremy's friend. Her history with the younger Gilbert is long past and it had its' seriousness. These days, they remain exes and friends who respect each other. She became one of his premier witch contacts and should he end up international, or should she, or should he have some questions, she becomes his go-to witch. He'd argue she's the most powerful witch he knows. He knows about others, about regents and ancestors but nobody but Bonnie has lost and gained her magic back more times than either of them can count. So, to Jeremy, Bonnie's like the witch.
It's been a long time since he was just Elena's little brother.
Bonnie slams the door of the rented Jeep, meeting Isaac behind to pull their bags out of the trunk. She hands Danny's his, Isaac grabs his own, and she pulls her own out closing it behind her.
She leads the way up to, essentially what feels like a foreboding castle, but she knows good is done here. The drive was beautiful and in some ways that's definitely enough, but she can't help feel her witchy tingle.
She does glance back at Isaac, remembering their time in the fort. She vows to keep him from enclosed spaces. No closets, no small bedrooms, she will go to the wine cellar if there's a wine cellar.
They got this.
And then the door opens. And Dawn is prettier in person, and somehow Bonnie just gets her, her air, her welcome quality. Also, something inherently clicks as a witch (20) and she sees just how powerful Dawn is. But she can't put a finger as to what that might mean. )
Happy Thanksgiving! Isaac and Danny, this is Dawn Summers. Buffy's sister and Jeremy's girlfriend.

Dude had an entire two cigarette's worth of time to get what he wanted to out.
Maybe it's on Dickerson, he was going on about how awkward it was running into Mandy the night before (but also chill, too), rags on Ben for not joining him for the rowdiest night of the year. Or how his old man wants him in on Saturday to help with this gnarly restoration, so Ben's going to have his partner-in-crime. He's not a talker, but with Ben, sometimes he just talks.
Unless they're not talking, cause he sits in the most comfortable silences with his best friend. With the only guy who just gets him.
They get each other.
He knows when Ben has a bone to pick, though. He can see it nagging behind his eyes, just letting Dickerson talk and talk, but the guy's gotta take his own initiative.
He does regret not pushing harder before they let themselves back into the house because at that exact time, the folks return and timing can't really be worse, can it?
Not that he knows what's in store for him.
Lisa stops in the foyer, removing her coat and hanging it up.
"Well, it wasn't the tortoise trot," she reminds her son. She toes off her boots. "And I echo Rudy. I mean, you've done some done stuff, but never anything that just makes me think, whew, that was a dumb thing my son did." )
Nah, he's the smartest guy I know.

Don't start lying for my benefit.
[He's kidding though. He knows he's not stupid, but this? This is stupid. This is something he probably should have opened his mouth up about sooner.
And now his Mom is here so might as well rip the band-aid off.]
I 23andme'd myself.
[Bracing for the inevitable criticism to come.]
