[Alexander isn't the type of person who likes to leave loose ends. With the graduation safely squared away and the hunters dead, the witches from the Underground are retreating, so Alexander is swinging through and making sure nothing else is needed from the cause.

This particular stop involves sitting in front of a newly turned vampire, glancing between Damian, Katherine and Stefan, and raising an eyebrow.]

Are you sure you want to do this?

[Give him a daylight ring, he means. It's too late to take back the vampire turning.]

( It's been a wild several days. Some of the worst and best. Worst, because he's dead. He fucked up, got taken, and ended up here. Best, because when he woke back up - still dead, and he was forced to complete his transition, he then felt better than he ever had. More powerful.

Being cooped up inside Damon Salvatore's home could be worse. He had to stick to the basement without a ring, but the basement is like its' own apartment.

For the record, he hates people speaking about him like he's not in the room.

Katherine keeps her hands clean, bringing them up.

[Stefan pauses and holds up his hand with a wave. "Hi." But after that he will turn and address Alexander to speak on his brother's behalf.

"Yeah, we're sure. If he's going to blend in and do what we need him to do, he needs to not burn up in the sun."]

[He then points to the table where he has the spell set up.]

( You all get an eyeroll as he walks back to the other side of the basement apartment. At least there's alcohol there.

Katherine keeps her judgmental eyebrow up.

( Stefan, meet her eye roll. She did what she had to do. It's called survival. Klaus tortured her for fun. Katherine did a lot, she did make Elena's life a living hell, but she never did what Klaus? Did to her. She does take a step into Damian, staying quiet.

"I wouldn't call them options. Be your forced spy or be your spy." )

( He's not becoming another number or a shadow of his former self. )

( He's heard people in the house. Good brother. Bad brother. They're both bad. )

[Stefan wouldn't. he wouldn't want to screw up Damon's plan. But he's sorely tempted.]

( "It wasn't. You were a vamp. An obvious one. You don't think we get files? You're all in them. Brown eyes here should be careful, because she's a person of interest" )

Do call me names, that's never ended badly for anybody. What does he mean, I'm a person of interest? Do you mean dull, dishwater, Elena?

[Because for five hundred years, Katherine was one of the biggest baddest vampires around.]

[Do doppelgangers count as human? A question TVD seems to flipflop on more often than not, but Stefan isn't going to throw Katherine completely under the bus in that respect.]

( They're problems. As if on cue, someone new joins the conversation.

"If I may make a slight stipulation. Your hunters are misguided, indoctrinated, and misled. That you would even attempt anything at my daughter's graduation should make me take matters into my own hands." But, he won't. "Stefan. It is customary to let one's guests in when they knock." )

[Being glib at the original hybrid is probably not his best move. But he also doesn't introduce himself. It's like giving your true name to a powerful supernatural entity.

Well, we'll need him to go undercover with Monroe's people. So we'll need him to essentially forget he's a vampire when he's with them. He needs to get us whatever information he can and report back.

[And they'll decide what to do with it from there. He then reaches over to text his brother to make sure he's not forgetting anything.]

What's his story for why he went missing for so long? Tortured and escaped or simply took the wrong road on the way to Mystic Falls?

[Damian shrugs. "Why not make him the hero? Took out the nest that was holding him hostage before they could eat him. At least he'll seem like he was being productive rather than treasonous, and it's not far from the truth."
