( So. There. And he'll slide back out. No reason to keep at it. She has the business card now. And Allison comes back in, watches him retreat.

[Lydia watches him as he goes, before her attention is drawn back to Allison when she speaks.]

[Not nothing. But not saying it in the room he's still currently standing in. She reaches up to tap her ear, before continuing.]

Mhm.

( She finishes the water in her glass. )

Oh, but I did get the name of a realtor.

[She pulls out the business card and passes it to her friend.]

I don't know if she's available on Sundays, but we could always make an appointment for tomorrow.

( Well that is something! )

We can find out. This town doesn't do anything how I think it will. Maybe we can check her door. See what her advertised hours are.

[She nods.]

It's not like we have anything else to do today, now that everything's back to normal.

[And then, because this is her best friend:]

I know that the boys are going to crash at the school, but you're welcome to stay with me at the B&B until we find somewhere.

( She was staying the furthest outside of town with Scott. That they now all have new accommodations, and soon even newer, gives her one less thing to worry about or push through. )

Thank you. Crossing finding somewhere else to stay off my list is one less thing. Did you ever think that, ten years later, we'd all be in the same place again? Living in the same town?

Honestly? No, I didn't.

[It's seemed so much safer to have them all spread out. She thought for sure that they were going to be forced to be long distance friends until everything with Monroe was handled. But she will reach across to place a hand on Allison's hand.]

I'm going to give Scott a ride to his bike and then it's summer school for us. You guys okay?

[Lydia nods with a smile.]

Allison is going to stay with me at the B&B. We'll text you if we need you.

And you text us if you need us. We'll check in tomorrow. And I'll let you know when we have something up and running. You need anything administrative, text Cole.

[Lydia glances over with a smirk.]

Do we have to worry about him making faces at our new house?

Cole is just expressive. There's a reason he's not in the field.

( No p-p-poker face. He needs to recognize what his job is. He's not tactical - except when it comes to entrances and exits. He's good on layout, just don't try and hand him a gun or a crossbow. Allison tried.

From the back, a scarf-wearing gen-z-er comes in, Sid, as Damon is at the front door finally unlocking it for the day. Sid's a big surprised there are people inside and the cook is already at work, but, sure, whatever. He's just paid to be here. )

I think Cole is tired, this is the most we've worked him in a while. He's coordinating three different areas right now. He will be coming in this week, though. Do you need him to get anything in Boston?

[She takes a breath as she considers.]

Which do you think would be more expensive? Transporting a large portion of my wardrobe here or buying a new wardrobe?

One doubles your wardrobe, the other bides Cole's time. It might be equal.

( Less work if she enlists Cole, but it's up to her. Damon's explaining whose tabs have been closed. Speaking of, Lydia's and her companion's brunch has been covered. And Damon is out of there! )

[She waits like she's considering, and as soon as she's one hundred percent sure Damon's gone ...]

Because I might have a date.

( We're waiting and then - oh. Okay. Really. )

( If anyone would, Lydia would. Not that Jackson didn't suddenly couple up, too. She's happy for them. )

[She might make him work for the new outfit.]

I don't want him to think I'm too impressed.

[This is Damon Salvatore. Even reformed, he's still a little cocky.]

( Not much phases Lydia Martin and she's always gone for what she wants. But, she doesn't make it easy for anyone. Not that she should. Allison has always fallen easier. With Scott, it just was. And then it was all too complicated and too much had happened.

[She will give him that. But he also has a history, and she's still feeling that part of him out.]

I - don't remember a time when I've thought about anyone's potential. I guess if we're staying ( She hedges. ) What do you think of Sam Winchester?

He's very tall.

Also, if you were going to pick a Winchester, he's certainly less volatile.

I'm not picking a Winchester. But, if there were potential, there would be potential in Sam. Maybe. We had a moment at graduation. I think I gave a little more va va voom than he was expecting. You know my red - sort of sheer dress?
