Then we get terrified, like children waking in the dark, we don't know where we are.
( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )
I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.
( She sighs.
From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.
A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.
Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.
Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.
The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

They aren't working alone.
He waits until the taxi is clear, until the scene seems to have calmed down, before leaning closer and tapping the driver on the shoulder.]
Just wait. Five minutes.
[And with that, he'll go and try and collect what they left behind, grabbing Bonnie's bag, phone as well as Isaac's, and heading to the car. As he slides in the backseat again, he nods to the driver.]
Go. Back to the hotel.
[At least for now. In the meantime, he's going to try and figure out what to do with these phones.
Ultimately, he decides he feels less bad about snooping around Bonnie's phone and tries to get around her pass code magically to see if there's any information about the people she was meeting today. They might be good to call in place of backup.]

The driver looks back. While Bonnie was in charge, Danny still being in the slayers'... employ?... he doesn't really ask, is the new boss. The driver doesn't peel out just yet. He waits. He does take note of the time. Five minutes are serious to him.
If he needs it, all the devices at least fit into Bonnie's bag, including an object that sure looks heavier than it is. Not to mention, anyone's knowledge of aerodynamics makes it clear nothing could drop like that.
Back inside, the driver nods, speeding away.
Danny's in luck, Bonnie electronically locks her phone, not magically. Her phone screen background is an older woman with white, curly hair he doesn't recognize.
she's not really a girl who uses her notes app, or her GPS. but Uber only dropped her off somewhere else back in Scotland, as they have their car service they use,
In her recent messages: Isaac Lahey and his snitching on Danny, Caroline Forbes and a few pictures of girls around his age, Bela Talbot, a time, date, and a long back and forth about a Dean Winchester, Elena Gilbert, also about a Dean Winchester and mentions of Sam Winchester, a group text with Caroline, Elena, and Bonnie, probably don't want to read that one... there are more, too, does he want to keep scrolling? )

There seems to be not much else there, though he hesitates before heading into her email. There has to be some kind of coordination with the teenagers who are here. If he can find hotel information there, then that's fine, if not he'll try a locator-type spell when he gets back to the hotel.
Then, he'll move on to Isaac's phone, which likely has better security because William's involved. After hesitating for a moment, he waves a hand and creates a illusion of Isaac over himself, seeing if that can trick the facial recognition.]

Isaac's phone opens! It's sparse. There are messages, a small number of contacts, and zero E-mails. )
no subject
This is Danny Brighton. Are you there?
[Because yes, that's useful. Good job, Danny.]
no subject
yeah, Danny, read you loud and clear
no subject
And also remember to drop the Isaac illusion before he does that. He's ninety percent winging this, but at least Faith is used to teenage disasters.
When Faith does answer and he sees her face, he jumps right to the point.]
Someone just grabbed Isaac and Bonnie off the street.
no subject
She quickly peers around to see if Stefan's making an appearance at dinner at all, Bonnie's his people, not hers. )
How long ago?
no subject
[Last he checked, Isaac and Faith had at least touched base, and Danny knows there's a Slayer with them, so...]
Can you get word to his team? They don't know me.
[Which is why he's calling Faith, not any of the other random names. He doesn't know who's in Prague and who isn't.]
no subject
( She's scarfing down whatever she's grabbed as she speaks, too. She is every bit the lady. )
no subject
[And in the meantime, he'll try to recruit some witches.]
I'll try and keep you posted if I find anything.
no subject
Unknown caller.
Meanwhile, Faith finishes her meal and looks for Stefan. )
no subject
Hello?
[If it's a robocall, he's hanging up.]
no subject
( Say yes, he knows where you are, exactly. He has his screen hooked up to the hotel TV, Mia probably beside him, Danny on speaker from his set-up. )
no subject
[He's hesitant to give more information than that.]
Faith tell you to call me?
no subject
( Calm down. Cooperate. )
Are you okay?
no subject
[Because that's the only okay that matters right now.]
It happened outside a restaurant called the Restaurant Mlýnec. There was a couple walking along the street and they got Isaac with a taser and Bonnie with some kind of anti-magic device. They shoved them both into the trunk of a taxi and took off. I didn't get the license plate.
[But he does have all the phones.]
no subject
I'll work on that, then, try to see if there's any surveillance in the area.
( The taxi won't be easy. He may have to turn on thermal imaging to find Isaac, at least. )
I can have Mia meet you, do you have somewhere to go?
no subject
[He found Isaac, he can find Bonnie's friends that she met earlier.]
Check back with me in a half hour and I might have a better location.
no subject
( We've got this. )
no subject
What if I had a picture?
[Because he does have one of those.]
no subject
( Good thinking! Because it's Hope and Josie, he won't be able to parse any social media so it will be building an algorithm to find them on cameras. It could take time. )
no subject
There, those were taken this afternoon.
no subject
( His quick search will come up as a dead end, but, he'll find something. )
Call again if you feel unsafe or if you need protection.
no subject
[But with that he will hang up and let William do his thing. And once they arrive at the hotel, he'll head up to his and Bonnie's rooms and get to work. He intends to find Bonnie's lunch dates the same way he found Isaac.
Determination and a modified locator spell.
Setting Bonnie's bag and Isaac's phone to the side for a moment, before setting out his various ingredients in front of him. The map of Prague will likely be the casualty of this spell, but he'll get another one. His sister taught him to do this spell when he was young, but this is the first time he's used it in a more dire situation.
He knows where Bonnie started her day. He circles it on the map. He knows where she spent lunch, and he circles that as well. As he closes his eyes and begins to chant, he places the pictures of the girls he's looking for on the table in front of him, and it's a bit like playing back a movie in his mind. He follows Bonnie from the hotel, to the restaurant. He sees the girls she meant to meet and tries to jump on to the threads of their day, letting the pen drag across the map as the spell follows their feet.
It gets complicated, as they bounce through varying locations, but it comes to a stop on a cross street, and he marks the location with an "X."]
