( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )

I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.

( She sighs.

From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.

A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.

Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.

Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.

The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

[He opens his mouth and is about to continue in said French when David steps off the elevator in search of coffee. He starts to make a beeline in the teenagers direction - because they're where the coffee are, and he stops when he sees Danny staring at him.

They hold the Mexican standoff for a good minute, neither of them saying anything, before David gives an awkward wave and continues in search of caffeine.]

( "I can give you room numbers," William offers as Lizzie witnesses the Mexican standoff. )

[David ignores her as he ceased giving a shit how he came off to people a long time ago. But Danny does turn to her as she says that and effuses:]

[And then he directs more specifically to William:]

( "Also here." And he proceeds to give the two room numbers, while telling Danny that two of them are off the premises and two others are in their room.

That's the guy.

[He'll grab a napkin to write down the numbers and pass it to Lizzie.]

Should we go grab Hope's uncle?

So, we're skipping the child entrapment.

( To Lizzie, the less interaction with the mustache, the better. )

Planning now would probably be smarter.

[But he's also not opposed to winging it. He spends most of his life winging it. It clearly has gotten him far.]

We plan now and the GQ vampire goes along with our plan. Mikaelson's tend to... overstep.

( Take over. Make wild swings. )

[He takes a deep breath.]

We want to find out what they know, right? Maybe another truth spell?

( A (3) guarantees that her sister Josie is the expert in truth spells, and not Lizzie. )

What if we don't ask the right questions?

That's the tricky part. Maybe we should map those out first?

[That's where GQ vampire might come in handy. They can give him permission to tag in if he's seeing two steps ahead.]

Just what I wanted to do on my vacation after graduation. Homework.

( But, he's not wrong. They should ask the right questions. Lizzie eyes creeper witch a little longer before nodding. )

[While she's doing that eyeing, Josie pops down out of the elevator, gives her sister a wave, and goes to help David with the coffee. Danny watches until they disappear before heading back to Elijah.]

So. There are hunters here in the hotel, so we want to try and cast another truth spell on them. But we want to make sure we're asking the right questions. Do you think you could help with that?

[Why not use his experience to their advantage?]

( Wait. Did her sister just go back upstairs with To Catch a Witch Predator? Should she be worried? Why is nobody reacting.

We want to know what they know about the Solstice, and why they tried to stop it from happening.

[Points up as he talks.]

And if they don't know, we want to know who does.

( Her attention back on Danny and Elijah, she's still been listening. )

Sounds specific enough. I have a talent for getting information I want. ( Unless she's oblivious. But, that's only with close friends and their crushes on her. Until it's impossible to be. )

We just have to be prepared for follow ups.

[In case the questions are too specific and they get very narrow answers.]

This won't be an interview. I'll handle this like I handled my college admissions interview. I vetted them more than they, me. My academics stood on their own.

( Also, let's not talk about our mental health struggles or our magic ties. )

[And up to the hotel room they'll go. Danny stops in and takes a deep breath, knocking on the door.]

( "Coming," they hear from the other side of the door. A scruffy guy, American accent and flannel matching, stands out in a hotel like this as he opens the door to -- two kids and their parent. )

Yeah?

[undermyfeet]

Hi.

[He just decides to keep it Brit, it feels safer. Elijah is a fake Brit too so it works.]

We had this room last and we think we might have left something behind. Mind if we come in and take a look around?

[It's not a bad lie, but it's still a lie (14).]

[jockwitch]

( Yeah, the lie (20) is sussed out and seeing as hunters know kids and adults can all be supernatural (and they were duped by some suped up kids), he steps back, nodding, but after closing the door, he does not hesitate to bring up a gun he'd stashed behind his back in his waistband. )
