Does he know that not being there when he's supposed to be there might make things worse? Possibly no, but Malia's sure not going to tell him.]
no subject
David, pick up that phone of yours. )
no subject
You okay?
no subject
( So. He's okay? But mostly everything is not okay. )
Suicide bombers.
no subject
[He rubs his eyes because that is not good.]
I'm sorry, man. If I had known Monroe was going to pick that weekend to take on the Mikaelsons I would have told you to hold off.
no subject
( He looks back at Freya. )
If we're right and they have a witch on the payroll, or witches? We need our own. And Davina Claire was taken.
no subject
[Okay, okay, okay. Who does he have that might be in the area? He'll need some time.]
I'll make some calls. See who's in town. But in the meantime, please call Donna and let her know you're alive so she stops angry texting me for getting you into this in the first place?
no subject
( He's smirking. Also, fine. For the text record, he will indeed text Donna. )
Also, if nobody is in town or wants to take on Monroe, you and your husband are walking to New Orleans. After all, you did get me into this.
no subject
Yeah, I know. Either I'll find someone or you'll hear from me. I promise.
[And he doesn't use those two words lightly, but he means it.]
Be careful, Harvey.
no subject
You walk me into a firestorm and you're telling me to be careful. Getting mixed signals, Gainor.
( AND. )
Oh. Klaus Mikaelson. What percentage would I not want to be here when he comes to check on his sister who saved us all?
no subject
[Because those are the relevant questions.]
no subject
( And that's what he can work with. )
Look, I'll figure it out from here. You work on your contacts.
( Also click and he returns to Freya's side. )
no subject
She's not in a lot of pain. She should be okay.
[So even if your mystery phone friend comes through with a magical assist, Freya should be able to continue business too. Not that she was listening or anything with those sneaky werecoyote ears.
But that's all well and good before Cami comes in and starts picking through the rubble, with a suited Original not far behind her. Malia raises an eyebrow.]
That's not Klaus.
[So just throw her advice out the window, good luck Harvey.]
I lied, if we're continuing Mickey et al, we should continue Malia et al, too!
( Less for her brother to lord over. Or, so he thinks. Because, (20), he knows Elijah Mikaelson. Elijah Mikaelson is infamous among vampires and members of the Strix, which is one of Harvey's clients. )
No, that's Elijah Mikaelson and last I checked, he was in Europe.
( Elijah waits for Cami to assess, but spots his sister and comes to his side.
"How is she?"
He only gives Harvey a passing glance. )
no subject
Cami nods, and does actually give Harvey the time of day, because she's an actual nice person.]
You must be Harvey Specter. Cami O'Connell. Marcel talks about Donna fondly.
[It's still true, Donna is remembered fondly everywhere.]
no subject
How long has she been like this?
( Harvey gets up and lets Elijah take a hold of his sister's situation, rolling his sleeves back down.
"That's Donna. Her reputation isn't relegated to one zipcode." )
no subject
Malia shrugs, because what is time when you're standing in a disaster zone. "Since the flames went out. But she's not in any pain so--"
Freya's hand starts to come up, reaching out and finding her brother's arm. She groans and it's not fully coming to, but hey at least it's a sign of life.]
no subject
Elijah's hand covers Freya's. )
Freya.
no subject
Freya's eyes blink open, then she winces at the light. But she does know that voice, and she's relieved to hear it.]
Elijah. Welcome back.
[Then she remembers what happened and she jerks up, wincing as she does. Her eyes dart to Harvey and there's a moment of relief, before her eyes scan again and doesn't find the other.]
Scott?
["He's fine. He went with Aiden to try and find Davina." Malia offers her a smile. "They left me here. No idea why they thought that was a good idea."]
no subject
Davina, Hayley, and Josh were taken. Tamara Monroe picked up Hayley's phone. Our brother is seeing red. Are you weak?
no subject
Freya glances to her brother and shakes her head. Is she feeling her best? No, not really. But New Orleans has never waited for her best day before, and it isn't going to start now.
She offers a hand up to her brother to get him to help her up.]
I'll survive. Do we have any leads?
no subject
I'd rather you thrive, but your survival is appreciated. You gave us quite the scare.
( Harvey moves closer.
"Aiden and - Scott - are on their way to get leads." )
None as of yet. Our brother wished for me to make sure you're alright. Niklaus was waylaid by a brainwashing gone wet.
no subject
Was Hayley alone when she was taken?
[Malia's eyebrows go up, and then wide. But she waits for Elijah to answer before she gives her impulsive reaction.]
no subject
( Elijah has not met Derek, but apparently he is more infamous (nat 20, really?) than the desert wolf's offspring, Malia (10). But, to justify this roll, Elijah has a great deal of knowledge and being versed in werewolf dynasties does do him good. Malia, however, was adopted and was only a recent revelation. Recent enough anyway. )
no subject
Freya smirks as she watches her go, before turning back to her brother.]
This could be an advantage. Derek was likely a target of opportunity, not intention. Perhaps I can manage a locator spell for him and he can guide us to everyone else.
