How's it feel? To be an official high school graduate.

It feels ... normal. Our definition of what normal might be like. People take graduates more seriously. They get more respect and more freedom.

( Speaking of, dad two, he smiles, closing his book. )

Josie invited me to go with them to Europe. We are going to be holding backpacks.

[He raises an eyebrow at that, and while he knows that Cas and Dean will likely have their reservations:]

I want to see the world. Even though, I could, myself - alone, or even with one more person, I think going with friends will be better. I think it could be better.

( Maybe for him. And definitely for everyone else. )

I definitely think it sounds like a lot of fun.

[Sam might even be a little jealous.]

If I had the option when I was your age, I would have taken it.

You went to school. Should I go to school? I want to hunt. I want to help you and Dean hunt. And Castiel. But, I could hunt after.

[Sam isn't going to limit him. He knows that hunting is an easy thing to fall into, but he also knows that college is important.]

It's your life. If you want to go live it, we'll find ways to make it work. This is the time in your life when you're supposed to go out there on your own and try new things.

( Dean wasn't happy when Sam went to college. And he's never in a good mood when he or Sam are separated. He doesn't want to hurt Dean by staying away. )

I think he'll worry about you. But I also think that I'll be able to convince him to let you go.

[Jack managed to make it through school without things imploding. He can handle a couple weeks in Europe.]
