( faith helps the witches climb back out of the sewers. they take their time, regrouping and refusing to leave without danny. she isn't looking to leave them in the lurch, either, so she stays put and planted. some of the witches check in with family, or worry when their family doesn't answer their calls or messages.
the signal returns to her cell and it buzzes in her pocket.
faith would listen to her message, but, yeah, isn't it easier to just call mia back? she'd tell her what she hears, anyway. so, with one eye on grieving, scared witches, she takes a seat on a stoop and calls her protegé back. )
( bad news doesn't travel as fast as ezra's husband, so anything tragic hasn't traveled across the pond. it's the end of ezra's shift. he heads back into his office to square away the last of his patient notes before grabbing a drink with elena. with their schedules conflicting, they'd had it on the books for weeks. he plays at being busy when she wants him to join her for town events. some, he makes, but for the most part, he tries to stay under the radar. especially when he's tailing her. but tonight, tonight's a part of his cover.
and, maybe, there's this real friendship forming between them.
maybe, tonight he'll admit it's not always easy to be far away from the husband she questions him having. he's invisible. is he real? he lives in canada, doesn't he? no. he travels, ezra tells her.
but their lives aren't easy, and he worries for as crafty as david is, his work is dangerous.

[The spell lifts and Isaac doesn't feel comfortable leaving Bonnie alone. Not until they both see that Eliza and Danny are safe. He escorts them back to Eliza's, closing the curtains once they're inside and shutting the door, just so people can't peer inside so easily.
Doesn't guarantee that a hunter won't opt to break down the door at some point, but they'll be safe from attacks of opportunity.
And once that's done, he looks her over, just to be sure.]

[Arriving back at base, he's already gearing for the leadership. Monroe had been here before this mess had started, but he didn't know where she was now. But safe to say, he was pissed.

He can see his father scowling as he storms past him, but Coop is past the point of caring. He wants answers for what happened tonight and he wants them now.]
[By the time he arrives back at the hotel, he doesn't know where anyone is. Gloria says something about William finding his sister and then going for a drink, so he decides to opt to text rather than call:]

[After that he cleans up, then flops back against the bed, bone-tired. He knows he needs to rest, recover and heal, but before he can do that, he needs to loop in one more person. He pulls up Allison's number, and places it to his ear.
[By the time Stefan arrives in witch town, he's already been brought up to speed. He knows about Spike, he knows how decimated the coven is, and he knows that Bonnie's okay. No offense to Spike, but the last one is his biggest priority, but that's mostly because it's Bonnie.
She's important.
He texts her and Mia when his train gets in, Mia to inform her of his trajectory, and Bonnie to say that he's coming. When he arrives, it doesn't take long to find her, given how much damage has been done. He reaches Eliza's front door, before reaching up and knocking, on the door, then stepping back so he's not infringing on her doorstep.
He doesn't intend to force Eliza's hand in terms of an invitation, but he does want to see that Bonnie is okay.]
