Then we get terrified, like children waking in the dark, we don't know where we are.
( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )
I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.
( She sighs.
From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.
A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.
Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.
Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.
The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

And then William's voice comes through Danny's ear. )
Your two hunters have two friends. And they're guests in your hotel.
no subject
[He points to his ear so Lizzie knows that that question isn't directed to her.]
Where are they?
no subject
( He... could. )
Bonnie and Isaac have a bigger, second head start. Our inside man roughed him up. They're on their way back to Prague.
no subject
[Because he's definitely not going to sit here doing nothing when he can be gathering information.]
no subject
( That she has to respond to! )
Who's coming here? Aunt Bonnie?
no subject
Her and Isaac. And two of the hunters associated with the ones we ran into are here in the hotel.
no subject
( Suddenly, the paranoia ratchets up. )
no subject
Definitely won't remember my face at least.
no subject
( She may just want to hear his American accent. )
no subject
Never really tried?
[Then he smirks, before speaking in his best French (12):]
Mon français est meilleur.
["My French is better."]
no subject
Be French.

They hold the Mexican standoff for a good minute, neither of them saying anything, before David gives an awkward wave and continues in search of caffeine.]

Chris Hanson vibes.

Thank you.
[And then he directs more specifically to William:]
Also, thank you.

( "Also here." And he proceeds to give the two room numbers, while telling Danny that two of them are off the premises and two others are in their room.
no subject
[He'll grab a napkin to write down the numbers and pass it to Lizzie.]
Should we go grab Hope's uncle?
no subject
( To Lizzie, the less interaction with the mustache, the better. )
Do we plan now or later?
no subject
[But he's also not opposed to winging it. He spends most of his life winging it. It clearly has gotten him far.]
no subject
( Take over. Make wild swings. )
no subject
[He takes a deep breath.]
We want to find out what they know, right? Maybe another truth spell?
no subject
What if we don't ask the right questions?
no subject
[That's where GQ vampire might come in handy. They can give him permission to tag in if he's seeing two steps ahead.]
no subject
( But, he's not wrong. They should ask the right questions. Lizzie eyes creeper witch a little longer before nodding. )
Let's do it.
no subject
So. There are hunters here in the hotel, so we want to try and cast another truth spell on them. But we want to make sure we're asking the right questions. Do you think you could help with that?
[Why not use his experience to their advantage?]
no subject
"While wanting the truth is about asking the right questions, to get to the right questions, you must first think about the answers you seek. What is it we need to know?" )
