I don't know much about the Colony, I have a source of my own. Two. But, I saw Elena and David already met.

She wasn't always a vampire. She had a built in customer base? She's who you go to if you anything procured for you, be it information on the Colony or an ancient dark object. Provided you can pay her price.

Not exactly. Someone turned her into a vampire.

[A pause.]

We weren't really what you would call close.

You'd be surprised how many times that brings people together in Mystic Falls.

For the record, I knew she was bad news. But, it doesn't sound like she does that anymore. She sounds more like Indiana Jones than whoever kept betraying Indiana Jones.

Becoming a vampire doesn't usually bring out the best in people.

[Well. Caroline Forbes exists, but he thinks she's the rare exception.]

I'm not saying she isn't the exception. I'm just saying, I thought I knew her reputation and it wasn't almost killing Sam Winchester.

Bonnie's contact is some chick who betrayed Sam and me too many damn times. And she should be dead and buried

[Sam texts back: Technically, I don't know how she died. She could have just had vampire blood in her system when the hounds got her.

She can't be trusted, Elena. She'll leave you for dead if that means she gets her pay day. Sam ran on some supernaturally bad luck and almost died because of her. Not to mention how many times she ripped us off or double crossed us. She made this deal, sold her soul. She should be being tortured by red-eyed demons.

( Not buddying it up with Elena's BFF.

A vampire gets torn apart in transition they don't wake up sewn back together, Sam. Bela Talbot got fucking away. And now we're on HER side? Get her number, Sam.
