They think the Colony might want to use me to make some kind of move.

Is the Colony the coven of Vague Negotiation? That's what they offered?

( Weak sauce, Elena. Even if they hadn't fallen into bed together, Dean wouldn't be going anywhere. )

They weren't offering on behalf of the Colony. They have their own agenda. The big spell though, is all the Colony and his husband, David, didn't give very many specifics beyond he didn't want that to happen.

[Which she believed. David has a way of being uncomfortably honest.]

But, no details. Nothing we can actually stop, prevent, research.

( He doesn't like flying blind. )

[She doesn't like it either, but she is used to it.]

David seemed to think it was something big. The Colony has been tracking the doppelganger for centuries. The impression I got is now that they know where I am, they're not going to risk me dying without following through on their plan.

[But the second question is answered with more of a shrug.]

( He's already stepping over the floor explosion to the fridge. Oh, he filled your fridge while you were gone, too. He even offers a beer without hearing her answer. There's also a bottle of wine open on top of the fridge should she prefer that, and of course her bourbon in the other room. )

[She takes the beer from him and pops the top, before looking over the chaos left in his wake.]

You are going to put my sink back together, right?

Yeah. Had to fix your leak. You didn't want a flood down there, you got downstairs neighbors.

( He kisses her first before giving his excuses. He then takes a long swig before looking back at the Hell he wrought. Alright, maybe he went overboard. )

You think we should start digging into the Colony? See what they might want with everything Elena?

I don't think it's a bad idea.

[She would definitely love to know more.]

But I think it's something we should keep far from us, just in case they catch on that we know more than we're supposed to know. Bonnie had some contacts in London that introduced her to David - maybe they'll be able to give us more information.

Fine. We go through Bonnie, but, if I'm - if we're - if you and me are doing this, maybe we set Bonnie and Sam on it, then. Three degrees away. That sit right with you?

( He's - trying not to call the shots, but he's also - so used to calling the shots. He's already got his phone out to, to see if Sam needs to reach out to Bonnie. )

[She nods because yeah. That sounds like a solid enough plan.]

Yeah. I think the person Bonnie was talking to was a friend of the family? Some kind of supernatural information dealer.

Sammy, contact Elena's friend, Bonnie. She's got a lead on the Colony. No new answers beyond that and there goes the gay neighborhood :/

( with that done, he drops his phone down and picks his beer up again. )

So, what now.

Well. While you put my sink back together, I could go pick up dinner, and we can have a night in? Maybe watch a movie?

[And they will likely wind up not watching much of the movie, but that's the point of having a night in.]

You uh, have any specific organization down here?

( Dean, you broke it, why can't you buy it. )

[She laughs, before tapping him on the shoulder.]

Just make sure everything fits and my sink works when I get back.

[And she'll give him a kiss on the cheek before heading out to find them dinner.]

[And then, after getting Bonnie's number from Caroline, because he's never met Bonnie, he sends her a quick text.]

Hey, I'm Sam Winchester - I don't know if Elena's mentioned me, but she said you might be a good source to start with on this whole Colony situation?

You're tall. And less uppity. Quieter than Dean, with floppier hair, but no, you've never been mentioned.

I don't know much about the Colony, I have a source of my own. Two. But, I saw Elena and David already met.

More or less.

[That's an accurate description for someone who's never been mentioned. But moving on.]

Yeah, and we're trying to keep this digging off their radar if we can. If you don't mind me asking, who was your other source?
