( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )

I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.

( She sighs.

From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.

A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.

Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.

Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.

The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

[He doesn't. Instead he sighs, before placing his finger to his ear to talk to Hope.]

We'll be down in a bit. Just gotta stop by my room for a change of clothes.

( "The sooner, the better. We're dragging in the adults. SOME of the adults." And that's all he gets as Lizzie turns away from him and changes, one of those fun romantic comedy moments where she's both modest, but curious to see if Danny is being a gentleman. A (17) means she doesn't look behind her to see if he is looking because she has resolve and she believes he's a gentleman. )

[He's definitely intently listening to hope until he realizes skin is happening, and then it's eyes widening, before he snaps around and focuses on the windows, the wallpaper, anything that is not Lizzie and his teenage brain going haywire.]

Right, we'll be there soon. Which adults?

[jockwitch]

Which what?

( She turns back, decent. )

Hope. She says they're looping in some adults?

[Playing the middle man is not the easiest. He's tempted to just hand the earbud over.]

You want to talk to Hope while I go change?

[jockwitch]

( Oh. Right. The ear thing. )

I'm coming with you. Adults?

( She thinks. )

Probably Elijah and Bela.

( William counts as an adult, right? )

OK. Let's go to your room.

[It doesn't take them long to get there, with the Do Not Disturb knocker on the door. He quickly lets them both in and Lizzie will see the remains of the locator spell - and the damage that came with it.]

Won't be long. Make yourself at home?

( As she -- approaches the burned carpet. She calls out. )

Redecorating your room?

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

[He grabs a fresh change of clothes and ducks into the bathroom - the door's open a crack so he can hear her, but he's out of view.]

I was trying to find your sister and Hope.

[jockwitch]

( She wonders if this is unchecked coven power, or if that's what happens when Hope and her sister are in the same place. Maybe just Hope. She is Esther Mikaelson's daughter. But, she doesn't ask. She doesn't want to bring up his lost family members. )

[undermyfeet]

[Probably for the best. He will fix it before he leaves, he just didn't have time at the time. A few minutes later he emerges in clean clothes before raising his eyebrows at her.]

Let's find the adults.

( After you, Danny. Who always looks cute in what he's wearing but she's not about to say that either! )

[Nope, no time for compliments, time to meet the adults.

Which they will do when they arrive downstairs in the lobby, where Bela and Elijah are sitting and Hope and Josie are also there looking equally awkward.]

So. This meeting is because?

( "I believe, breakfast," Elijah says, getting to his feet. Not that breakfast couldn't get political in their family.

Hope looks between Josie and Lizzie, steps away and then turns to the group.

"We're here because Bonnie Bennett and Isaac Lahey were taken. They escaped and they're making their way back, but we're not waiting." )

Finding out what's going on, I'm guessing.

[Josie nods slowly. "We have this dark item that has Bonnie's magic trapped inside. Since Bela knows dark objects, we were wondering if she might be able to help."]

And we wanted to track down some of the hunters involved, see what they might know.

Two hunters tracked us here. One pretended - terribly - to be our maid. ( Or housekeeping or whatever. ) Their memories have since been erased, but, so were their trails.

( "And, it's the solstice," Lizzie reminds them. "Something Wiccan or Celtic that could tap into Danny's family line. We think maybe Bonnie was taken because she is of his family line. But we don't know if that's why she and Danny were here. Danny doesn't either."

See, she does good with explanations and plans. Just not with flirting and emotions. )

Well. I think I know where I fall into all of this.

[She's clearly on dark object duty.]

If you show me the object, I can see what I can figure out. It might help if I had some of you on hand to help.

[She means the witches, though she would appreciate Elijah's company regardless.]

I was thinking Elijah could help us with the hunters. And, Josie and I can take you to the dark object.

( Basically, splitting up. )

Seeing as we're not in a Prague indie horror, I think splitting up is what we have to do. If they're using the solstice or stopping something because of it, we need to find out what it is.

["Then I guess me and Lizzie will take Elijah with us, once William comes back with a location."

Bela pauses.]

Isaac Lahey's associate, I presume?

He's a nerd.

[She glances back to Elijah before continuing.]

Elijah and I were in London when the Knightsbridge coven was attacked. We helped with a lot of the ... damage control. Isaac seemed interested in staying in touch.

[Danny tenses a bit because he had no idea that Hope's uncle was also in town. And then his brow furrows. "You're not friends with that David guy are you? Or are you actually Bonnie's friends?"

Bela smirks.]

David is a client. And if I remember correctly, he kept Bonnie alive, so he wasn't completely useless.

[havethings]

Who is David?

( And why are they not doing things yet? )

[She glances over at Elijah.]

Let us know when Mr. Clayton is in touch? We'll get to work on getting Bonnie her magic back.

( Elijah nods, as he is sure to. He joins the Saltzman's - and Danny?

"While we are waiting for William Clayton's triangulation, what is it you wish to do next?"

And Hope, knowing she needs Bela's help, will follow Josie as her girlfriend leads them back to the dark object that currently houses Bonnie's magic. )

[They get onto the elevator and Josie presses the button for their floor. Once the doors close, Bela turns to Hope.]
